CHP AND LASD DUI Arrests in Los Angeles

As of 6:00 a.m. Christmas morning, 138 people were arrested for DUI or driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs in Los Angeles County by the CHP.

Across California, the CHP arrested 710 people for DUI – driving under the influence or driving over the legal limit.

The California Highway Patrol and other law enforcement agencies have launched a crackdown on drunk drivers called "Avoid the 100" anti-DUI Holiday Campaign.

The L.A. Sheriff's Department reports making 1,506 DUI arrests as part of the Avoid the 100 anit-DUI Holiday Campain.

It's to be determined how many of the people arrested for DUI will be convicted in Court or will have their license suspended or revoked by the DMV.
