NHL veteran, ESPN Hockey Analyst Arrested
ESPN.com reports NHL veteran and ESPN analyst Matthew Barnaby was arrested in connection with a "
domestic incident" that involved two victims Friday evening, according to Amherst, N.Y., police.
USAToday.com sources say Buffalo's WIVB-TV reported that police responded to a phone call and found extensive damage to a home and two unharmed females.
Barnaby was charged with the following crimes involving domestic violence: criminal mischief, criminal trespass, harassment, criminal contempt and aggravated harassment.
According to ESPN.com, Barnaby will spend Friday night in jail and be arraigned Saturday morning in Amherst Town Court. Saturday arraignments are a luxury not afforded to those arrested in Los Angeles or Orange County. In California, if you are arrested on Friday, expect to spend the weekend in jail unless you get cited and released on your own recognizance (OR Release) or bail out.
