Former Sheriff’s Deputies Plead Guilty To Drug Crimes

The Los Angeles Times reports two former sheriff’s deputies pleaded guilty to conspiracy to distribute and possess with the intent to distribute marijuana according to the Los Angeles Times.

The former deputies conspired with a former 13-year police detective to steal marijuana from the Kern County storage unit. The marijuana had been seized by police during drug operations. The former sheriff’s deputy got caught when he tried selling 8 pounds of marijuana to a confidential informant.
